Lolo, who won the USA and World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, only reached this position by putting in a lot of effort and tremendous patience. In addition, she was a part of the team that finished 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles event in the years 2003 and in 2004. Jones completed her studies in 2005, began to work hard in track. In 2005, she was winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006, she won the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.

Brandt is a child of the Cape Town region. She grew up within Cape Town South Africa with her parents and siblings relocated into Auckland New Zealand when she was in her late teens. Brandt was identified by local casting agencies she was offered the leading role of Naevia in the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena.
